• How it works: more a pressure valve than a thermostat - as oil pressure rises the plunger opens and more oil goes through the cooler
• Effect: about 10 degrees off oil temperature on a hot run
• Tested: on our own car before we listed it
• Fitting: screws into the oil filter housing in place of the factory unit
